Biodegradable Hygienic Soaps

The Sardine Sardo Olive Soap 95g from Fer à Cheval is formulated exclusively with olive oil and is presented as a versatile product suitable for both personal care and household use. The soap features a design created by Marseille based artist Sardo Marsiho, who draws on the well known local tale of the sardine that blocked the port of Marseille. Its graphic style and attached rope contribute to its function as both a practical item and a Marseille themed keepsake.

Fer à Cheval produces the soap using a traditional cauldron based method that has been maintained since 1856. The formula is certified Cosmos Natural and contains a minimum of 72 percent vegetable oils. It is biodegradable, free of palm oil, and suitable for sensitive skin, including that of children. The soap becomes more concentrated with time, which enhances its durability and performance, making it an environmentally conscious alternative to multiple hygiene and cleaning products.
