Zero-Waste Berthoud Boutiques

The Source Zero NoCo Sells Eco-Friendly and Refillable Products

The Source Zero NoCo serves as a local hub for accessible, low-waste lifestyle products in downtown Berthoud. Founder Nikole Bari was motivated to launch the store after being inspired by Ashley Merz, who established the original concept in San Jose, California. After relocating to Colorado and settling in Berthoud, Bari identified a gap in the market for a community-focused retail space offering sustainable, everyday essentials.

Now marking its fourth year in operation, the boutique was Northern Colorado’s first dedicated zero-waste store. It provides a curated selection of refillable, reusable, biodegradable, locally sourced, and handcrafted products designed to reduce reliance on single-use plastics and support more sustainable consumption habits.

“Every small action creates ripples of positive change. We’re here to make sustainable living accessible, inspiring and joyful for everyone in our community,” Bari said.
