Exhibition Place Awarded for Sustainable F&B Innovation
Debra John — July 18, 2025Exhibition Place in Toronto has been recognized for its sustainable F&B innovation, winning the '2025 UFI Operations & Services Award' from UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. This award honors venues creating more sustainable, engaging, and adaptive food and beverage (F&B) experiences.
In partnership with OVG Hospitality, Exhibition Place launched a new hospitality program offering improved food options year-round. The program focuses on eco-friendly practices like sourcing local and seasonal ingredients, reducing packaging waste, and minimizing food waste across its venues.
Exhibition Place is also one of the first venues to sign the 'Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge,' showing its commitment to cutting carbon emissions in the events industry. By combining delicious food with smart sustainability efforts, Exhibition Place is leading the way in greener hospitality—proving that large-scale venues can deliver quality experiences while protecting the planet.
