Chinese flashlight brand Olight released two new sustainable flashlights for Earth Month: the 'Baton Series' and 'ArkPro Ultra Onyx Black,' both built on sustainable design principles that prioritize longevity over replacement. The Baton Series from Olight features swappable batteries and a rotating USB-C port designed to reduce the most common failure points in rechargeable flashlights.
The ArkPro Ultra holds over 80% battery capacity over 300 charges and shrinks four light sources into one device. Both products ship in FSC-certified plastic-free packaging made from sustainably sourced paper.
Olight's philosophy is that replacing parts rather than products and combining functions rather than multiplying them can make sustainable designs a practical reality, not just a marketing trend for consumers.
