Villa Creek Winemakers Focus on Sustainable Viticulture with LANDSBY Wines
Kalin Ned — May 9, 2025LANDSBY Wines — a boutique label focused on sustainable viticulture and community-driven winemaking in Paso Robles — represents a new venture from Villa Creek winemaker Oliver and his wife Natalie. The project emphasizes regenerative farming and low-intervention techniques. It reflects Oliver’s experience with biodynamic practices at Villa Creek Cellars and MAHA Estate.
The name 'LANDSBY Wines' was derived from the Danish word for 'village.' It underscores the philosophy that wine should embody both terroir and human connection. To mark its debut and foray into sustainable viticulture and community-driven winemaking, LANDSBY will host a one-day tasting event on May 25th at FINCA in Paso Robles. There, the public will have the opportunity to sample the wines and engage with the creators firsthand.
The combination of sustainable practices, personal narrative, and Paso Robles’ growing prestige as a wine region positions LANDSBY as an intriguing option for those valuing provenance and craftsmanship in their selections.
