Shiseido’s IPSA brand has introduced the 10th-generation 'ME PRO Essence' with a new bottle designed to significantly reduce its environmental impact. The packaging uses "Liqui-Form® technology, an innovative process that forms the bottle and fills it with product in one single step; by combining these stages, the brand is able to use 56% less plastic and cut greenhouse gas emissions by 48% compared with traditional manufacturing methods."

Toshinobu Umetsu, CEO of Shiseido China and Travel Retail, explained that this technology reflects the company’s commitment to making its packaging more sustainable. By reducing plastic waste, lowering carbon emissions, and minimizing the resources needed for production, IPSA shows how beauty brands can create high-quality products while also protecting the environment. The new ME PRO Essence bottle represents an important step in Shiseido’s broader efforts to bring more eco-friendly packaging solutions to the cosmetics industry.
