Finisterre Unveils its Sustainability-Oriented 'The Resurge' Collection

Finisterre, best known for its outdoor apparel, is extending its sustainability focus into denim with the launch of its 'The Resurge' collection.
Developed in collaboration with recycling specialists Reskinned and Dagobaire, the initiative repurposes discarded denim into new fibres, drawing on vintage French workwear for design inspiration. The resulting fabric blends 30% post-consumer recycled cotton, 30% pre-consumer recycled cotton, and 40% recycled polyester.
The limited capsule includes two core styles for men and women, each designed with a gender-inclusive approach.
“We’ve been working with Finisterre for some time now, so it’s great to see them using this recycled material in the Resurge collection. It shows how discarded garments can be transformed into new textile fibres and brought back into everyday clothing," said Ross Barry, co-founder of Reskinned.
