The Tioga County Cat Project, a nonprofit dedicated to helping stray cats and dogs in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, is launching an innovative recycling-for-a-cause initiative. By collecting recyclable materials from the community, the organization aims to raise funds that directly support its efforts in animal rescue, care, and adoption.

Recycling collection events will be held on various dates throughout the year, with the first one having kicked off in February. All proceeds from the collected materials will go toward the nonprofit’s mission to improve the lives of stray animals. Residents looking to contribute can drop off their recyclables at the designated Tioga Pool location on Broad Street in Tioga, and in turn, are turning everyday waste into meaningful support for animals in need.
