Vena Group recently announced the launch of Vena Nexus Group Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary dedicated to developing AI-ready data centre infrastructure. The new entity was established by transferring all related data centre activities, personnel, and development pipelines from Vena Energy to Vena Nexus. This strategic move aims to enable more focused capital deployment, sharper operational execution, and enhanced delivery of hyperscale-grade digital infrastructure integrated with renewable energy sources. The initial development portfolio currently stands at approximately 3 GW, including over 1 GW of projects specifically dedicated to AI-driven data centre solutions with secured power, land, and permits.

Vena Nexus Group is positioned to develop both large-scale AI-ready data centre campuses and distributed edge facilities to address growing digital infrastructure requirements across the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to accommodating traditional digital workloads, the new subsidiary is engineered to support emerging AI applications such as training and inference workloads, real-time data processing, and low-latency computing. The strategic repositioning reinforces Vena Group’s broader commitment to sustainable digital growth and improved integration between digital and renewable energy infrastructures, with an initial focus on markets including Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines and plans for expansion into regions such as Thailand, South Korea, and Australia.
