NativState Introduced Two new Projects with Elevated Carbon Credits

NativState introduced two new carbon credit initiatives focused on environmental benefits through the verification and issuance of forest carbon credits from Improved Forest Management projects. The initiatives, 'ACR 900: Calion Ouachita River Wilderness' and 'ACR 1015: Bottomland Forests of the Mississippi Backswamps and Delta Mixed Forests,' support long-term carbon sequestration, forest conservation, and ecosystem health.
Managed under the American Carbon Registry Improved Forest Management methodology version 2.1, the projects promote sustainable forestry practices that enhance carbon storage while protecting biodiversity, soil quality, and water resources. Both projects received the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market Core Carbon Principles label, reflecting adherence to high standards for environmental integrity, transparency, and permanence.
By prioritizing durable carbon removal and responsible land stewardship, these initiatives contribute to climate change mitigation, resilient forest landscapes, and the protection of natural habitats, while supporting credible, high-quality carbon credits that advance trust.
