Reimagined Thrifted Goods

704 Shop and Lions Services Teamed Up to Auction Off Thrifted Apparel

Charlotte-based lifestyle brand 704 Shop has teamed up with nonprofit Lions Services to give new life to thrifted and donated sports apparel from local teams. The collaboration, part of the (En)Vision project, transforms these items into unique, one-of-a-kind clothing pieces, crafted by employees at Lions Services—many of whom are visually impaired or blind.

The limited-edition collection features 13 upcycled garments, each carefully reimagined from donated materials. These pieces are being auctioned to raise funds for Lions Services, supporting the nonprofit’s mission while highlighting the creativity and skill of its workforce. By merging sustainable fashion with social impact, the partnership demonstrates how thoughtful design can empower communities and give discarded apparel a second life.

“This is your opportunity to own a one-of-one piece and, secondarily, a piece that means much more than just clothing. It has meaning, and wearing it with pride, knowing that it was designed and assembled in consideration of a great organization in our town,” 704 Shop CEO Andy Mitchelides said.
