Behr Paint Company has introduced a new interior paint product — the BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ECOMIX — which is formulated using a minimum of twenty percent plant-derived materials. This composition has earned it a designation from the USDA BioPreferred Program. The product is also characterized as a zero-VOC (volatile organic compound) formula and has received a GREENGUARD Gold certification. This distinction indicates the product meets specific standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air.

Behr Paint Company emphasizes that its BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ECOMIX maintains the performance and durability expected from its brand. As part of the launch initiative, a donation of the paint will be made to a non-profit organization focused on affordable housing.

The product is available for purchase at a major home improvement retail chain.
