Distinctive Blue Paint Containers

Amcor is partnering with Flügger to introduce a new material-efficient, shelf-ready paint container 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. Rendered in a custom blue color that aligns with the latter's branding, the new container supports Flügger's goal of reducing its reliance on virgin plastic while increasing its use of recycled materials across its packaging. Notably, the design meets the requirements outlined across multiple voluntary labelling schemes.

“Feedback from both consumers and our retail partners has been overwhelmingly positive — especially in terms of the color,” said Casper Paggio Hansson Felt. “The blue container is visually appealing and the lids in different colors help users quickly identify the right type of paint, which adds practical value, especially for our professional customers.”
