Bio Energetic Water Supports Professional Plant Hydration

Agro-Watereffects is developing Bio Energetic Water (BEW) technology to support more sustainable practices in agriculture and horticulture. The system is currently in use across both a closed ebb-and-flow setup and a commercial freesia cultivation site, where it is applied for irrigation and bulb treatment.

Agro-Watereffects reports that BEW, when combined with a Skal-certified biological additive, is designed to enhance water quality, stimulate beneficial soil microflora, and reduce unwanted contamination. Early trials indicate improvements in plant growth and soil structure.

In ornamental horticulture testing, including at Royal FloraHolland, BEW-treated water has also been associated with extended vase life, with roses maintaining quality for up to three weeks in some cases. It is designed for integration into existing irrigation systems across greenhouse and open-field production, reflecting broader industry interest in water efficiency and climate resilience.
