High-Power eBike Drive Motors

The Brose Qore eBike Motor Debuted at Eurobike Frankfurt 2025
Colin Smith — July 2, 2025Brose’s QORE e-bike system debuted at Eurobike 2025 as a fully modular ecosystem positioned as the “energy core” of high-performance electric bicycles. The launch lineup includes the Drive³ Peak mid-motor, the InTube battery available in 650 Wh and 800 Wh versions (both noted for among the highest energy densities on the market), and the Control Allround operating unit with an intuitive, color-customizable TFT display. Brose has also announced a slimmer 500 Wh Battery SlideIn and an external range-extender battery for model year 2027, as well as the Display Integrate and a remote control unit, rounding out a flexible platform that supports rapid integration by OEMs and aftermarket builders.
The Drive³ Peak motor delivers up to 600 W of peak power and 95 Nm of torque from a compact 193 × 150 × 115 mm, 2.9 kg footprint, striking a balance between weight and output for all-day rideability. QORE’s modular architecture is engineered to interface seamlessly with electronic shifting, GPS modules, anti-lock braking systems, and other IoT devices, enabling brands to craft cohesive, feature-rich e-bikes. Manufacturers can select from multiple battery capacities or mix InTube and Battery SlideIn units to tune range and weight, while the standardized mounting and communication protocols simplify assembly, service, and future upgrades.
