Stealth's B52-R Bike Improves on the Original 2015 Stealth B-52
Colin Smith — July 2, 2025The Stealth B-52R represents a significant evolution of the original B-52 platform, incorporating an ultra-silent, high-torque direct-drive BLDC hub motor that delivers up to 7.5 kW of peak power and 230 Nm of torque—an approximate 91 percent increase in torque over its predecessor—and achieves top speeds of up to 95 km/h while emitting just 40 dB of sound. Its sine-wave–controlled powertrain is paired with a six-speed electromechanical sequential transmission backed by a lifetime warranty, offering riders both instantaneous throttle response and the option to contribute pedal power for extended range or acceleration boosts.
Built around a robust monocoque steel chassis, the B-52R features 180 mm of Fast Ace front suspension travel, 200 mm of rear travel, and 27.5″ rear and 29″ front knobby tires for enduro-level terrain handling. Stopping power is provided by 250 mm motorcycle-grade rotors and four-piston calipers, complemented by an adjustable regenerative-braking system. Energy needs are met by a 2.5 kWh battery pack that delivers approximately 60 km of range per charge with a three-hour recharge time, while the bike’s sub-70 kg curb weight balances trail agility with the mass required for high-speed stability.
