Frontier Infrastructure Holdings Completes a Drilling Operation

Frontier Infrastructure Holdings, in collaboration with the University of Wyoming, recently announced the completion of a significant exploratory drilling operation for a deep carbon storage well.
The proposed carbon storage facility in Wyoming is known as the Sweetwater Carbon Storage Hub. It is considered to be the deepest carbon storage well in the United States. Frontier Infrastructure Holdings and its partner are using it to study underground rock formations for their suitability to permanently contain carbon dioxide. This phase of the project is a critical technical and regulatory step, involving extensive data collection and analysis of core samples to confirm the integrity and capacity of the potential storage reservoirs, which is necessary for securing permits for future large-scale operations. Preliminary data from this well and a previous one indicate that the geological characteristics are highly favorable.
