Certified Cosmetic Ingredients

CH-Bioforce's cosmetic ingredients XYLENSE® and LIGNENSE® have achieved COSMOS certification, one of the most globally recognized standards for natural and organic cosmetics. The certification validates the ingredients’ compliance with stringent requirements covering natural origin, responsible sourcing, processing practices, and full traceability across the supply chain.

Both ingredients enable cosmetic manufacturers to meet evolving regulatory expectations without affecting product performance. XYLENSE®, a hemicellulose-based ingredient, delivers emulsification, film-forming capabilities, hydration support, and enhanced sensory attributes. LIGNENSE®, derived from lignin, offers antioxidant and UV-absorbing properties.

XYLENSE® and LIGNENSE® are produced from upcycled Finnish oat husk sidestreams using CH-Bioforce’s patented BIOFORSENSE® technology.
