Ingredient-conscious consumers are invested in avoiding consumable products impacted by glyphosates and pesticides, as these chemicals can leave residues linked to health and environmental concerns, and chickpea pasta brand Banza now has packaging with CleanScan labels. Banza is among the first brands to earn The Detox Project's CleanScan certification, and scanning an on-pack QR code provides direct access to comprehensive, accredited test results for glyphosate and over 400 pesticides.

Last year, all of Banza's farming partners pledged to be desiccant-free—committing to not spraying chickpeas with pesticides like glyphosate at harvest. Now, Banza and CleanScan are making it easier for people to invest in a more transparent food system and feel good about the food they're fueling their bodies with.
