The Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC) is set to spotlight the next wave of conscious couture with ECO-CHIC: The Future of Fashion, taking place on Saturday, November 8, at Woodbine Mohawk Park. This dynamic runway event will celebrate the creativity and innovation driving sustainable fashion, featuring designers and consignment retailers who transform reclaimed materials into contemporary, stylish ensembles.
Showcasing collections from Jasmine’s Attaché in Milton and Bungalo Beach in Burlington, the show will illustrate how thrifted and upcycled garments can rival high-end fashion in both sophistication and versatility. Each curated look will highlight how reimagined clothing contributes to reducing waste and promoting mindful consumption.
More than a runway event, ECO-CHIC invites guests to rethink their relationship with fashion—encouraging them to embrace sustainability not as a trend, but as a timeless statement of creativity, responsibility, and modern style.
