EMX, the logistics arm of 7X, has introduced its first fleet of e-bikes to enhance last-mile delivery operations, aligning with its commitment to sustainability and innovation. The initiative, launched in January 2025, is part of EMX's broader strategy to transition to a fully electric fleet and reduce its carbon footprint. The e-bikes are equipped with advanced technology, including a dual-battery system that provides a range of up to 135 kilometers, as well as safety features such as a Combined Braking System (CBS) and hydraulic suspension. These features ensure efficient and secure deliveries, even in challenging urban environments. Additionally, EMX has established battery charging infrastructure at its hubs across the UAE to support the seamless integration of the e-bike fleet into its logistics network.

This initiative reflects EMX's dedication to promoting green logistics and smart urban mobility, in line with the UAE's sustainability goals. By replacing traditional delivery vehicles with electric alternatives, EMX aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency. The company has set an ambitious target to replace 98% of its conventional fleet with electric vehicles by 2030. Beyond e-bikes, EMX plans to expand its electric vehicle lineup to include electric vans and other eco-friendly options, further advancing its vision for a sustainable logistics ecosystem. Through these efforts, EMX demonstrates its commitment to fostering cleaner, more efficient delivery solutions while contributing to the region's environmental objectives.
