QSR-Backed Environmental Stewardship Campaigns
McDonald's USA Backs the NFWF and Other Partners
Kalin Ned — September 19, 2025McDonald's USA has committed to financing its collaboration with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and other partners to advance environmental stewardship within its beef supply chain. The initiative is described as the company's most significant investment in this area to date.
McDonald's USA will be allocating over $200 million to promote regenerative agricultural practices across millions of acres of cattle ranch land. The program's objective is to equip participating ranchers with resources and incentives to adopt methods that improve soil quality, conserve water resources, and restore wildlife habitats.
The partners emphasize that this environmental stewardship campaign is a voluntary, grant-based system managed independently by the NFWF, with the stated goals of not only creating ecological benefits but also enhancing the economic resilience of the agricultural supply chain upon which the company depends.
