Eaton Has Partnered with FranklinWH to Simplify Home Solar Storage

Eaton partnered with FranklinWH to integrate Eaton's 'AbleEdge' smart breakers with the FranklinWH System, simplifying home energy storage management for contractors and homeowners installing solar and battery backup systems.
The collaboration enables intelligent load management and virtual power plant functionality, allowing homes to shift or shed electricity demand during peak periods and export excess power to the grid through participating utility programs. Eaton's smart breakers can be retrofitted into existing load centers or installed in new construction, with both companies' technologies managed through the FranklinWH App.
Eaton now serves as FranklinWH's preferred supplier for load management as part of its broader 'Home as a Grid' strategy to make residential energy systems more flexible and resilient.
The partnership shows how integrated home energy technologies are making residential solar and battery systems easier to deploy while giving homeowners greater control over energy costs and backup power.
