Recycled Plastic Oils

Ineos Olefins & Polymers' manufacturing facility in Lavera, France, has officially recieved a shipment of pyrolysis oil, derived from recycling plastic. Using this product, Ineos will work on crafting recycled polymers that can be used to help the European Union can use to further its goals of using 10% recycled content by 2030. Products like recycled ethylene and propylene will result from the adoption of this substance, and these innovations can be used in sectors like food contact, medical, and sensitive plastic packaging.

“We are committed to accelerating circularity by working with partners and leveraging our full portfolio of circular solutions, including our Recycl-IN hybrid polymers and our pilot line for fully recyclable MDO films,” Ingram says. “This is Ineos driving innovation with purpose.”
