Marine Industry Innovation Conventions

Metstrade 2025 will position sustainability as a central theme across all 13 halls of RAI Amsterdam, with nearly 1,700 exhibitors and a record number of new products emphasizing cleaner, more efficient solutions for boating and yachting. The event’s programme highlights technologies and materials spanning boatbuilding, propulsion, electronics, coatings, safety equipment, and marina infrastructure, and includes dedicated zones such as a Foiling Technology Zone and a Next Gen Zone that focus on efficiency improvements and alternative propulsion systems.

The show incorporates targeted initiatives to support circularity and verified environmental performance, including the Sustainable Innovation Hub, the Next Generation Propulsion Showcase organized with IEMA, and the Superyacht Sustainability Route featuring products assessed through third-party Life Cycle Assessments overseen by the Water Revolution Foundation. Metstrade will also host the Marine Impact Lab workshop on practical sustainability strategies and apply responsible event practices, such as reduced single-use plastics, sustainable stand design encouragement, and green travel options to align its operations with the sustainability messages presented on the floor.
