Eco-Friendly Nigerian SIM Cards

MTN Nigeria is partnering with CardCentre Nigeria Limited to unveil an assortment of eco-friendly SIM cards made from biodegradable materials. This effort aims to reduce the amounts of plastic waste across Nigeria and the broader West African region by providing consumers with eco-friendly alternatives to common products. The SIM cards are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, utilizing recycled components and energy-efficient manufacturing processes.

"The partnership underscores our commitment to sustainability and innovation, while also supporting local businesses and economic growth through strategic alliances," said Tobe Okigbo, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer at MTN Nigeria.
