Expanded Clean Plastics Facilities

Nefab has announced an expansion of its manufacturing operations in Mexico that will double its thin gauge thermoforming capacity. The company is adding a new sustainable plastics facility designed to support increased demand for protective packaging solutions across sectors such as electronics, automotive, and industrial equipment. The facility will produce lightweight thermoformed components using processes intended to reduce material use and improve recyclability. According to Nefab, the investment is part of a broader strategy to scale its global production footprint while aligning with customer requirements for lower impact packaging systems.

The new site will also support Nefab’s long term sustainability goals by incorporating energy efficient equipment and production methods that reduce waste generation. The company indicates that the facility will enable greater regional supply chain resilience by increasing local manufacturing capabilities for North American customers.
