Nippon Kinzoku Co. is launching the fourth product in its environmentally friendly Eco-Product series: a new stainless steel with a Special Tension Annealing (STA) finish. This material is designed to solve common challenges in the manufacturing industry, particularly issues with warping and surface quality during the etching process.

The STA finish features a refined crystal grain structure, which creates a smoother, higher-quality surface that is especially useful for microfabrication and applications requiring fine detail. By reducing warping and producing smoother surfaces, the STA stainless steel simplifies manufacturing steps, cuts down on wasted energy, and lowers environmental impact.
