Revamped Pet Food Packaging

Mondi has teamed up with French pet food producer Saga Nutrition to introduce a fully recyclable packaging solution for Saga’s dry pet food lineup. Moving away from traditional multi-material plastics, the new design utilizes innovative mono-material technology, aligning with sustainability goals while maintaining premium product protection.

Launched this October, the re/cycle FlexiBag from Mondi’s re/cycle portfolio complies with both the company’s Path to Circularity Scorecard and Ceflex’s recycling standards. Offering robust barrier qualities, the packaging safeguards contents against moisture, fats, and odors, accommodating sizes from 3 kilograms and above.

By switching to mono-material packaging, Saga Nutrition reinforces its commitment to reducing environmental impact while enhancing shelf appeal. The package also features secure sealing for easy storage and handling.
