Sappi North America Debuted New Products at PackExpo Las Vegas

Sappi North America presented its "What’s Next" campaign at PackExpo Las Vegas, highlighting new product launches, expanded manufacturing capacity, and sustainability‑focused packaging solutions for converters and brand owners. The company promoted two new product lines, the LusterFSB, a BPI‑certified compostable food‑service board, and Proto Max, an engineered board for demanding applications, while emphasising convertibility, printability, and compliance with commercial composting standards.

Sappi also showcased recent capacity investments at its Somerset Mill in Maine, where upgrades have more than doubled solid bleached sulfate board production to support reliable supply and consistency for high‑volume converters and brands, and sponsored a session on tactile packaging effects to link material innovation with consumer engagement strategies.
