The City of Helsinki will open the Uusix Market in Kyläsaari on 10 September, offering refurbished computers, recycled bicycles, restored City furniture, and handmade goods from local work activity programs. The launch takes place at Kyläsaarenkatu 8 J from 12:00 to 18:00, with regular hours continuing Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 15:45.

The market features the Uusix Shop, which offers décor, household items, jewellery, and gifts mainly made from recycled or surplus materials, alongside the Fillari-myymälä bike shop, which sells refurbished bicycles and spare parts. Visitors will also find the PC Shop, which specializes in restored electronics, and a furniture store featuring cleaned and repaired Antique pieces.

With an ever-changing selection, Uusix Market highlights sustainability and creativity by giving discarded items a new life while supporting community work initiatives.
