Locally-Made Ethical Apparel

Founded by Nerissa von Helpenstill and Jenn Clarke Hill, emerging apparel label VonVie has introduced a womenswear collection centered on locally handcrafted button-down shirts and jackets created from vintage menswear and reclaimed materials. Each garment is produced as a one-of-a-kind piece, with the brand emphasizing relaxed, oversized silhouettes and distinctive design detailing.

Key pieces within the collection include a gingham-and-chambray hybrid top featuring an asymmetrical hemline, as well as a cropped trench jacket finished with ribbon accents and satin lining. The assortment is built around six signature silhouettes supplemented by rotating seasonal releases, with pricing positioned between $75 and $350.

VonVie products are currently available through the brand’s e-commerce platform, at Tootsies, and via monthly pop-up events hosted by independent local boutiques. Since launch, the founders have seen strong community engagement and consumer support from shoppers across Preston Hollow, the Park Cities, and surrounding markets.
