Recyclable Disconnect Switches

Flemington, New Jersey-based company Altech Corporation has introduced its new 200A and 400A UL 98 Disconnect Switches, built from 100% recyclable plastic materials for a more sustainable electrical solution. Designed for reliability and flexibility, the switches feature operator-independent make/break actuation, modular configurations, and inspection windows for each pole.

Rated up to 300 HP at 600V AC with a 100 kA short-circuit withstand (when paired with Class J fuses), the switches are available in three- and four-pole options and support wire sizes from 2 AWG to 600 kcmil. Accessories include various shaft lengths and handle choices, making them adaptable to diverse applications.
