Upcycled Hair Thickening Agents

Breton manufacturer Lessonia introduces Alter-Thickhair, a plant-derived ingredient designed to naturally increase hair density. Made from oud wood fibers, it offers a vegan and sustainable alternative to traditional materials such as nylon, cotton, and keratin.

Designed to address hair thinning caused by stress, hormonal changes, or diet, Alter-Thickhair meets the growing consumer demand for effective yet environmentally responsible solutions. The ingredient is available in two standard shades—Natural and Brown—and can be customized for hair care formulations, giving brands the flexibility to create products that deliver performance while supporting sustainability goals.
