Collaborative Eco Banana Packaging

This Mondi banana box has been developed by the brand as a collaborative packaging design created with banana exporter Incarpalm, trading partner Europcell and a European importer. The packaging is reported to be up to 10% lighter than a traditional box despite being just as strong, while also being made with roughly 40% recycled fiber. The packaging makes use of Mondi's ProVantage SmartKraft Brown solution that prioritizes protective quality and high strength, while the ProVantage Frescoflute is used for enhancing firmness.

Technical Service Expert for Containerboard Products at Mondi Marek Motylewski spoke on the Mondi banana box performance saying, "Seeing the new box perform under such tough conditions was incredibly rewarding.
