Battery-Powered Utility Vehicles

Greenworks Debuts Its OPTIMUS UTV for Commercial Crews

Greenworks Commercial has introduced battery-powered utility vehicles with its new OPTIMUS UTV, extending its electric equipment platform into off-road transportation. Designed for landscaping and property maintenance professionals, the vehicle combines electric power with heavy-duty capabilities, offering an alternative to conventional fuel-powered utility equipment.

The OPTIMUS UTV operates on a 400V platform, delivering 110 HP-equivalent peak power, a maximum speed of 40 MPH, and up to 68 miles of range. Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system supports challenging terrain, while a 2,500-pound towing capacity accommodates demanding commercial tasks. The vehicle joins Greenworks' expanding collection of electric mowers, autonomous equipment, and charging solutions.

This expansion could help landscaping businesses transition more of their operations to battery-powered machinery. By offering electric vehicles alongside maintenance equipment, Greenworks strengthens its commercial portfolio while addressing demand for versatile, battery-powered alternatives across professional outdoor industries.
