Electric Urban Mobility Designs

ONYX Motors brought four custom concept builds based on its RCR 80V electric-motorcycle platform to the One Motorcycle Show in Portland. The purpose is to show how bold design and EV performance can exist in the same machine. The showcase featured builds from four designers, including founder Tim Seward's retro 'Trapper Keeper' and Ivan Ceja's cyberpunk-inspired 'Citizen Zero.'

The production RCR 80V reaches 65 mph, accelerates from 0 to 30 mph in 1.7 seconds, and delivers up to 130 miles of range in Eco mode. Starting at $5,199, it features regenerative braking, a TFT touchscreen, and smartphone integration.

ONYX demonstrates that grounding an EV platform in creative culture and expressive design can make electric mobility more attractive to audiences.
