Hyundai’s Concept THREE is presented as the first compact electric vehicle concept under the IONIQ sub‑brand, introduced at IAA Mobility 2025 as part of the company’s broader electrification strategy. The model reflects Hyundai’s intention to expand into the European compact EV segment, responding to rising demand for smaller, space‑efficient electric vehicles. The design is shaped by the company’s Art of Steel philosophy, which emphasizes sculpted surfaces, intersecting lines, and an Aero Hatch profile intended to balance aesthetics with aerodynamic efficiency. Distinctive Parametric Pixel lighting is used at the front and rear, reinforcing visual continuity with other IONIQ models.

Interior development focuses on material‑driven design, modular customization, and ergonomic clarity, featuring yellow and grey tones and Hyundai’s Bring Your Own Lifestyle widgets for adaptable cabin configurations. The concept also incorporates playful elements such as hidden Mr. Pix design details. While powertrain specifications have not been confirmed, the production version, expected to be named the Ioniq 3, is anticipated to share battery configurations with the Kia EV4 and operate on a 400‑volt system to manage cost and charging performance. The Concept THREE is positioned to complement Hyundai’s existing midsize and large EV offerings and to support the company’s goal of expanding its European EV portfolio.
