Advanced Hydrogen Plans

At the APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025, Hyundai Motor Group participated in the session titled 'Hydrogen, Beyond Mobility: New Energy for Society,' engaging in strategic discussions on the future of hydrogen as a core element of global sustainability. During the session, Vice Chair Jaehoon Chang emphasized hydrogen’s critical role as both a catalyst for achieving carbon neutrality and a strategic energy carrier capable of transforming multiple industries beyond transportation.

Hyundai Motor Group highlighted the importance of international collaboration to accelerate the development of a robust global hydrogen ecosystem, underscoring the need for strong government–industry partnerships to drive progress in technology, infrastructure, and policy alignment.

Drawing on nearly three decades of hydrogen innovation, the Group showcased its leadership across the full hydrogen value chain—from production and storage to utilization—demonstrating its commitment to advancing hydrogen as a clean, scalable, and economically viable energy solution for a sustainable future.
