DEWA is Working with Salesforce on Sustainable AI

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced a partnership with Salesforce to accelerate digital transformation using AI and cloud technologies aimed at supporting DEWA’s clean energy and sustainability objectives. The collaboration focuses on deploying Salesforce’s AI and data‑management capabilities to improve operational efficiency, enhance asset management, and enable predictive maintenance across DEWA’s generation, transmission, and distribution assets, all while working toward attainable environmental goalpoints.
The initiative includes development of AI‑driven analytics and customer‑facing digital services to optimise energy usage, integrate higher shares of renewable generation, and support demand‑side management programmes. DEWA and Salesforce also plan to leverage cloud platforms to centralise performance data and reporting, facilitate real‑time decision making, and scale solutions that contribute to emissions reduction and long‑term decarbonisation goals.
