Low-Carbon Durable Cements

JK Lakshmi Cement Limited has launched Green PRO LC3. This innovation is India’s first commercially available Limestone Calcined Clay Cement (LC3), designed for sustainable, durable construction. Produced at the Jaykaypuram plant in Sirohi, Rajasthan, commercial distribution targets large-scale infrastructure and institutional projects in Northern and Western India.

Green PRO LC3 combines clinker, calcined clay, limestone, and gypsum to create a refined cement with lower permeability and improved long-term stability. Compared to traditional Portland cement, it reduces CO₂ emissions by 40%, making it a more environmentally responsible option. It also enhances performance in challenging conditions like intense heat and coastal environments.
