Flexible Apple-Made Leather Alternatives

Beyond Leather Materials Leap Flex has been announced by the Danish brand as its latest sustainable leather alternative that's crafted from upcycled apple waste with a keen attention to flexibility.

The leather alternative keeps applications that require materials with enhanced stretch, durability and flexibility in mind, and is reported to have an elongation rate of 130% to accommodate impressive movement capabilities. The material is also said to have a flex resistance rated to 50,000 times to shift and conform without worry about failure. The leather alternative will also come in two new color options including Macchiato Beige and Burgundy.

The company commented on the Beyond Leather Materials Leap Flex saying, "At Beyond Leather Materials, we’ve always believed that sustainable design should never limit creativity. That’s why we’re introducing Leap Flex, a more adaptable version of our signature material, Leap®."
