Circular Polyester Resins

Loop Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: LOOP), a clean technology leader driving circularity in plastics and fibers, has unveiled Twist™, its branded circular polyester resin developed entirely from textile waste. Designed to support the fashion industry’s transition away from virgin materials, Twist™ offers a high-performance, sustainable alternative that enables true textile-to-textile recycling.

Produced using Loop’s patented depolymerization technology, Twist™ breaks down polyester textile waste into its core monomers which are purified and repolymerized to create a resin that matches the quality of virgin polyester. The process eliminates dyes, colorants, and contaminants, making it suitable for use in premium apparel applications.

Originally created as Loop’s fiber-grade PET resin, the product has been rebranded to better represent its role in closing the loop for the global textile industry. Twist™ will be offered as Loop’s flagship solution for apparel brands, with offtake discussions currently underway as part of its planned joint venture in India.
