MIMARU Introduces a Wardrobe Rental Option for Sustainable Travel

MIMARU, Japan’s premier apartment-style hotel brand designed for families and group travelers, has announced a new collaboration with Sumitomo Corporation that will allow guests to access the 'Any Wear, Anywhere' clothing-sharing service. The initiative provides inbound family travelers with a practical solution to reduce luggage volume while supporting more sustainable travel during visits to Japan.
'Any Wear, Anywhere' is a clothing rental service tailored for international guests staying at MIMARU properties in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The program offers a selection of versatile, everyday apparel intended to meet travelers’ needs throughout their trip, enabling guests to pack lighter and avoid the inconvenience of laundry or post-trip unpacking.
The service will launch for MIMARU guests on January 19, 2026, with online reservations available beginning January 7, 2026. The program will operate as a pilot through March 2026, after which MIMARU will evaluate potential expansion based on customer utilization and feedback.
