Nissan Canada Unites with Lithion Technologies to Recycle EV Batties
Kanesa D — October 8, 2025Automaker Nissan Canada has entered a partnership with Quebec's Lithion Technologies Inc. to introduce a project specifically focused on recycling and safely disposing of end-of-life electric vehicle batteries. Under this project, Nissan will focus on minimizing waste and reducing the company's environmental footprint, offering a reliable solution that will help it attract consumers who value their impact.
"Partnering with Lithion Technologies allows us to take a proactive step toward a more sustainable EV ecosystem," said Andrew Harkness, Director of Dealer Network Development, Electrification, and Corporate Strategy at Nissan Canada Inc. "Together, we're helping to localize battery recycling, reduce dependence on mining, and support the growth of Canada's clean tech sector."
