Water Replenishment Habitats
Primo Brands Aids in a Restoration Project in California
Debra John — August 29, 2025Water replenishment habitats are at the center of a new partnership between Primo Brands, a leading North American beverage company and owner of the Arrowhead® Mountain Spring Water brand, and River Partners, a California-based conservation nonprofit specializing in large-scale river and floodplain restoration. Together, they are supporting an ambitious, multi-site initiative aimed at revitalizing critical stretches of the Sacramento and Feather Rivers.
The project is designed to strengthen water resilience in a region facing increasing pressures from climate change and drought. Beyond improving water systems, the initiative delivers a range of ecological and social benefits: restoring natural floodplains, enhancing biodiversity, and creating vital habitats for wildlife. Additionally, the effort contributes to climate resilience and flood protection while ensuring renewed access to culturally significant natural resources for Tribal communities.
By linking corporate responsibility with ecological restoration, the collaboration highlights the role of cross-sector partnerships in advancing sustainable water management and long-term community well-being.
