FREITAG, the manufacturer of ultra-sustainable bags and accessories that feature upcycled truck tarps and other salvaged materials, is expanding its existing product maintenance services with the inauguration of a new, dedicated repair facility adjacent to its primary retail location in Zurich.

This new FREITAG product maintenance location is designed to streamline the repair process. In 2024 alone, the company noted that its long-running Bag Doctor service repaired "nearly 10,000 bags," and the demand is continuing to grow as more and more people adopt the ethos of the circular economy. In addition to the new location in Zurich, FREITAG also has repair stations around the world — from Munich, Milan, Taipei, and Melbourne to Bangkok Siam, Tokyo Shibuya, and Seoul Apgujeong.

With this new product maintenance facility and its timely launch during the holiday season, FREITAG is " saying no to Black Friday discounts and instead doubling down on what it believes in — repairing what we already own and extending product life cycles for as long as possible." To celebrate the new milestone, FREITAG is offering free bag repair to the first five customers at eight FREITAG Stores worldwide with a repair station on November 29th.
