High-Volume Packaging Partnerships

Ranpak and Medline expanded a multi year partnership to integrate Ranpak’s automated, paper based packaging systems into Medline’s high volume distribution operations. Medline has deployed multiple Cut’it! EVO right sizing machines and Form’it! case erectors across outbound lines to improve throughput and reduce manual packing tasks, with reported reductions in carton SKU variety and material use. The automation is presented as a scalable solution to increase packing efficiency while maintaining recyclable packaging inputs.

The collaboration is described as aligning operational efficiency gains with sustainability objectives by replacing excess void fill and oversized cartons with right sized, recyclable paper solutions, and by standardising case formats to simplify logistics. Ranpak and Medline report improvements in labor productivity and transport cost savings alongside the environmental benefits, and the deployment is positioned as a model for scaling automated, circular packaging practices across additional distribution centres.
