Tom's of Maine Turned Amazon Streams Into Reforestation Donations

Tom's of Maine and American Forests launched a reforestation donations campaign in which Amazon donates $1 for every hour of select nature and wellness content streamed from April 16 to May 24. The goal is to raise up to $150,000 for tree planting and Tree Equity initiatives across the US.

The campaign addresses the loss of 1.4 million hectares of forest in the US in 2024, which has weakened carbon storage and community resilience at scale. American Forests has planted more than 80 million trees over three decades and is targeting 100 million more by 2026, alongside Tree Equity expansion in 950 cities.

Tom's of Maine shows how embedding a donation mechanic into an everyday activity can make forest restoration feel like something anyone can contribute to.
