Wildfire-damaged forests in Northern California are the focus of a new restoration initiative supported by TransPak, a global provider of packaging, crating, and logistics solutions. In partnership with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation, the company is "funding the planting of 400,000 climate-resilient trees through a $500,000 contribution." The effort will help restore more than 2,700 acres affected by the 2020 Sheep Fire and the 2021 Dixie Fire, two of the most significant wildfire events in the region’s recent history.

The project carries particular meaning for TransPak, which was founded in California 70 years ago and continues to invest in initiatives with measurable environmental benefits. In addition to supporting forest renewal, the reforestation effort aims to rebuild native habitat, enhance conditions for at-risk wildlife, and contribute to the recovery of communities impacted by extensive wildfire-related damage.
